I’ll update the list as I remember more places I’ve been rejected from, and places I continue to get rejected from. I’ve been at this since January of this year.
At what stage are they turning you down? (Resume, phone call, face-to-face interview?) Maybe there’s a way to “fake it ’til you make it” in job hunting?
The stage where they never call me back once I’ve applied. I’d love to be able to fake anything to anyone for a job, but actually seeing anyone who is in a position to possibly offer me a job precedes being able to fake any skills I may or may not have. The one time I was called back, I went in for an interview, did the interview, then turned the job as cart pusher down once I was offered the position. Maybe not the best choice financially, but I would have been wholly miserable doing something like that, not to mention it was a half an hour away. :/
