What To Do With 400 Peeps

Posted by superjanitor on November 24, 2008

I came into possession of these peeps earlier this year. I’ve eaten a couple, maybe three, packs of them all told. But other than that, they’ve mostly just sat there, taking up space. But anything I could tell you about them would belie the real issue here, and that is: what to do with 400 peeps?

Since they have just been sitting in a box, the retail box they are sold from no less, a peep strata has formed throughout. On the top are the very hard and stale peeps, in the middle are the semi-hard peeps which are almost as good as the fresh peeps, and on the bottom are the softest peeps. So I have a wide range of peeps at my disposal, from the traditional yellow peep, to purple bunny peeps, all of which range from super stale to super soft.

There is no way I can eat all these by myself without getting The Beetis, and while there are still some fresh ones in the stack, I’d like to try something a little different with them all. How often is it that you have 400 peeps at your disposal? So I ask of you, what is the most crazy, interesting, or even useful thing you can think of to do with 400 peeps? Maybe there’s something I could do with them for Thanksgiving, since it’s just a few days away at this point. A Peep casserole perhaps? Share with me your ideas!

Lots of Peeps.

Lots of peeps.

Lots of peeps.

Lots of peeps.

There’s actually 405 peeps, but 400 just had a nicer ring to it.

Peep turkey! Gotta do it, you have color for the head and the little waddle thingy, then yellow body and tail.

Or… maybe make yourself a Peep curtain for your door. You know, like those beaded ones from the 60s. (I know you’ve at least seen them on cable or in Spensers.)

I’d say Peep blanket, but that would attract ants. Danger.

I kind of like the Peep curtain idea. I would have to seal them somehow though, because they would eventually start to flake and the sugar would just get all over the floor.

What kind of sealant would I use for a sugary organic substance like a Peep though? I don’t know how well anything aerosol would work, guess there’s only one way to find out.

this took over 3000 Peeps…spose you don’t have that many, but it’s worth a look anyways.

O_o yes that certainly was worth a look! Holy cow, that must have taken some time to set up, thanks for posting that.

I don’t think I have it in me to do something that elaborate though, but it’s definitely the kind of idea I’m looking for.

There’s always peep jousting. Although I don’t know if I could sit through 200 rounds of it or how your microwave would be doing by the end of it.
